join the studio

i've been running this alone. it's time for real people.

astral labs is a small, ai-native studio for the conscious world — teachers, healers, artists. it's grown past one pair of hands. i'm looking for a few good people to build it with — starting with someone to help me run everything.

why work here

a small studio doing work that actually helps the people who hold space.

i'm jordi — a healer and an engineer, working from mazunte, oaxaca, by the sea. astral labs builds and runs the whole business engine for teachers, healers and artists, so they can go back to the work only they can do.

it's real, it's paying, and it's early. that means the frontier — you'd work with ai the way it's actually meant to be used, not a year behind. it means remote and yours to shape. and it means you'd feel your work land, directly, in someone's life.

i'm not offering a comfortable seat at a big machine. i'm offering a ground-floor role in something being built — with room to grow into it as it grows.

mission-driven, remote, early, and real. that's the whole pitch, and i mean all four of them.

fully remote ai at the frontier early-stage, honest about it work that helps real people grows as the studio grows
the main opening

someone to help me run everything.

the studio moves fast and i'm the bottleneck. i need a right-hand who keeps the machine turning while i stay in the craft and the relationships.

now hiring the role

studio operations lead (right-hand)

remote full-time or serious part-time self-starter

you'd help me run the day-to-day of the whole studio — coordinating client builds and delivery, keeping the pipeline moving, keeping clients warm and looked-after. the person who makes sure nothing drops while i'm heads-down building. not a task-taker: a partner who owns the operation.

who it's for

  • organized and calm — you keep the plates spinning without dropping them, and you like it.
  • you get both worlds — the conscious world of teachers and healers, and the discipline of actually getting things shipped.
  • comfortable with ai tools — you already use them, or you're hungry to; you're not scared of the frontier.
  • a self-starter who finds the work and does it, rather than waiting to be told.
  • warm — clients feel held when they talk to you.

what you'd actually do

  • coordinate client builds from kickoff to delivery — timelines, hand-offs, nothing lost in the gaps.
  • keep the pipeline moving — new leads, follow-ups, quotes, the deals that go quiet if no one tends them.
  • look after clients — check-ins, updates, the small "here's where we're at" that makes people feel safe.
  • run the day-to-day of the machine — the systems, the tools, the ops that keep a studio alive.
  • protect my focus — take everything that isn't the craft off my plate.

how it grows

this starts as helping me run things and grows into running them. as the studio grows, so does the role — from operations lead to the person who holds the whole operation while i build. early people shape what this becomes. the ceiling is wherever you take it.

always open to

rolling · the right person.

no formal opening, but if this is you, write anyway. the right people get made room for.

rolling · builders

an exceptional builder

a developer who ships beautiful, real things fast and genuinely gets this world — someone who can hold both the code and the soul of the people we build for. if you use ai as a force multiplier rather than a crutch, i want to know you.

rolling · content

a content & social collaborator

someone who can tell the studio's story — in film, in writing, in the feed — and help the makers we serve tell theirs. warm and tasteful, and fluent in how attention actually works now. a storyteller who also knows how to grow a thing quietly.

not on this list but feel the pull? write anyway — tell me what you'd bring.

how to apply

no forms. just write to me like a human.

i read every one myself. don't send a cv into the void — tell me who you are and why this pulls you. a few honest paragraphs beat a polished résumé.
